Golazo! Jonathan Fabbro (Cerro Ponteno) v Santos
I have never seen grass designs like that on a football pitch in my life…
Neymar chapeu vs Wason Renteria (Once Caldas-Santos)
Another gorgeous piece of skill from the Brazilian starlet.
Elano practices his diving skills during Santos training?!?!
This is bizarre footage.
With the cameras rolling at Santos’ training ground in Brazil on Tuesday, former Manchester City and Galatasary midfielder Elano Blumer was filmed falling over twice in rapid succession.
Things started going wrong for the Brazilian international when he strode down the left hand side to meet a pass into the space. With no-one around and not even a whiff of a tackle, Elano got his timing all wrong he tried to control the ball. Screwing things up big-time, Elano was left red-face as he hit the deck in a control FAIL.
But then things got weirder.
As the play continued as his teammates ignored his tumble, minutes later Elano was spotted hitting the turf once more. This time, however, the curly-haired playmaker didn’t even have the excuse of a miscontrol as he was nowhere near the action, as he strangely sunk to the turf as if shot by a sniper.
Neymar golazo & sent off for celebrating with a mask (Santos-Colo Colo)
This you truly couldn’t make up and if the rumours are true that Neymar is heading to England, this writer for one would be delighted, the young Brazilian starlet simply guarantees excitement in every match he plays.
First off it is important to point out that Santos’ 3-2 win over Colo Colo in the Copa Libertadores on Wednesday night was no ordinary match.
In total five players were sent off, three of them from Santos who thanks to Neymar’s brilliant goal had been leading 3-0 early in the second half.
Neymar had earlier been booked after just 9 minutes and then produced one of the most bizarre sendings off in the history of the game.
The Brazilian starlet danced through the Colo Colo defence and chipped over Colo Colo keeper Juan Costillo and cheekily picked up a mask of his own face which was on the side of the pitch to celebrate.
Uruguayan referee Roberto Silvera did not take too kindly to this behaviour and promptly booked Neymar for a second time and sent him for an early bath.
In answer to a couple of the likely ensuing questions, the Neymar masks had been given to the crowd by sponsors but as far as we know there is no rule that says a player should be booked for wearing a mask after celebrating a goal.
Falcao Golazo Double
He is widely known for his incredible golazos, and once again Brazilian futsal legend Falcao has wowed the audience on the five-a-side pitch.
Playing in the Brazilian futsal league on Monday for his club side Santos, Falcao scored two almost identical 30-yard lobs in the 5-2 win over Carlos Barbosa.
Making the whole event that much more noteworthy was the attendance of several of Santos’ stars from their Brazilian league team. Neymar, Elano and Ganso were all in the crowd to watch the match, and following both Falcao stunners the cameras panned to the professionals to capture their joyous expressions.
……Question: When will the goalkeeper learn?
Football Vids: goal of the week
Goal of the week goes to Elano for his free kick for Santos vs Colo Colo, The Ramires goal at the weekend just missed out due to the insane movement of the ball.
